How come when I play the regular Deus Ex the graphics are decent to bland.

But when I play Revision it looks AMAZING?

lol haha, maybe you didn't have all the details maxed when you played vanilla?

Revision doesn't improve the graphics.

Revision is better than vanilla but with a few adjustments DX looks amazing biggrin

Thats just the awesome filter thrasher has enabled. You can disable it if you want, its in the main menu somewhere. Its not recommended to disable, though, as it may cause serious side effects to your game. So far, I've heard reports of the game magically turning into Invisible War, but with UT1 visuals.
