When I ride the boat to Battery park it acts like the demo and says deus ex is now availble world wide and then takes me back to the menu but I have the full version.I am using shifter could that cause the issue.

Yeah,Its GOTY disk version.I think I fixed it because before the intro wasn't working.

Yeah, seems like Steam version is causing a lot of problems. People should avoid the steam version.

I believe he has the GOTY (CD) version. Which should work just fine since I am using exactly the same version.

I think I fixed it I just had to reinstall it.
